Cooper's Ultra Aged Rye Whiskey: Resurrecting An American Tradition

Virtually every farm grew some rye as insurance in case bad weather damaged other cereal crops. Most of that rye went to produce whiskey. George Washington produced rye whiskey at his Mt. Vernon plantation and would eventually become one of the largest distillers in the fledging United States.
