Tasting The Passage Of Time: 5 years of Orphan Barrel's Rhetoric

I have tasted these whiskeys over the last five years. My expectation was that with the passage of time they would have become drier and slightly more tannic. The reality turns out to be the opposite.The whiskey is smoother, sweeter and fruitier with a few years of additional aging.
