3D Printing For Dummies: Replicating Grandma's Fragile Bones For Vehicle Crash Tests

Humanetics, the company that created crash test dummies almost 70 years ago, now has an elderly model, the first dummy developed using additive manufacturing. The entire torso, from the pelvis to the head assembly, was 3D-printed using new materials and techniques.
