Minor League Ballplayers Will Lose Minimum Wage Rights As Part Of $1.3 Trillion Spending Bill

Minor League Baseball players earn as little as $1,100 a season. But through lobbying by MLB who pays the salaries, a provision in the massive $1.3 trillion federal omnibus spending bill would alter the Fair Labor Standards Act to exempt these players from minimum wage and overtime laws.
