Lionel Messi scored his 600th career goal to give Barcelona a key win over what was a dogged Atletico Madrid. The trademark Messi free-kick was his third in as many matches for Barcelona. Over the last five games, Barca's lead had slipped from 11 points to 5 points as Atletico crept ever closer.
