For almost two decades, the colorful ancient frescoes in Egypt's Red Monastery have been under restoration. Now digital technologies and 3D scanning are allowing thousands of viewers to experience the vibrant colors, architecture and monastic art of the late Roman and Byzantine Mediterranean.
