Newspaper Industry Vows To Fight New Tariffs On Canadian Newsprint, Citing Jobs Threat

Two big newspaper groups, the News Media Alliance and the National Newspaper Association, have vowed to fight new countervailing duties from the Commerce Department on Canadian paper used to publish newspapers. The additional financial stress could put as many as 600,000 jobs at risk, they argue.
