Larry Gagosian, David Zwirner... Seth Siegelaub? An Artist Book Exhibit Takes On The Mega-Galleries

In the 1960s, an art dealer named Seth Siegelaub came up with an alternative to the high-stakes gallery system. His idea? Cheap artists' books, run off on Xerox machines. A new exhibit at Hamburger Kunsthalle shows that he may have been onto something.
