When Landon Donovan retired in 2014 after winning the MLS Cup for the 6th time there were those that wondered if he had pulled the trigger too early. In 2016, he made a comeback and completed the season with the LA Galaxy. Eighteen months on and he his ready to go again but not with an MLS team.
