Facebook Focuses News Feed On Friends And Family, Curbing The Reach Of Brands And Media

Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook is beginning a year-long overhaul to promote 'meaningful interactions' across its products, starting with a major change to the news feed that will prioritize posts by friends, family and groups and curb the reach of unpaid content by brands and publishers.
