In First Brexit Compromise, UK Gets A One-Year Reprieve For Carbon Traders

British industry was staring at a fast-approaching cliff edge on 1 January when their carbon credits would become worthless. A compromise agreement has delayed this cliff edge, which could cost the UK £1 billion - but only for one year.
