Herbert M. Parker And The Making Of The Atomic Bomb

At the beginning of the Manhattan Project, Herbert Parker developed radiation protection standards and procedures that the whole world still uses today. Parker built the Hanford Labs that later became Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and even invented the units we use to measure radiation dose.
