The Food and Drug Administration is taking new steps to ensure safe use of MRI "dyes" that contain gadolinium, a rare earth metal that Chuck Norris and his wife claim poisoned her. But the FDA stopped short of the European Union's move to suspend the use of three gadolinium-based contrast agents.
