Moved by the plight of refugees around the world, Parsons fashion design student Angela Luna, used her 2016 senior thesis project to explore whether clothing could play a lifesaving role for displaced people. Her first Kickstarter campaign raised $100,000 and donated 500 jackets to Syrian refugees.
