The Crazy World Of Indonesia's Salt Market - Quotas, Import Restrictions And, Yes, Smuggling

The point being that, as we can see from the smuggled 15 tonnes, the free market is better at matching supply and demand than the government of Indonesia is. We would probably recommend that salt be left to the free market then, rather than be aided by the Indonesian government.
