Bicyclist deaths rose 12.2% in 2015, which is the largest percentage increase of all groups of roadway users in 2015. The average age of those killed is 45 and most (85%) are male. Why is this happening? Distraction and alcohol play a role. What we can do is laid out in a GHSA report.
