Do a search today for 'Volvo' and 'electric car' and you’ll be swamped with hits declaring the Swedish carmaker will swear off gasoline engines from 2019. That would make it the first legacy premium carmaker to cross over to the bold new world of zero emissions. Sadly, it’s not quite true.
