U.S. And EU Should Demand Democracy And Independence For Hong Kong

China disavowed a treaty with the U.K., and in so doing violated the rights of the citizens of Hong Kong who aspire to more democracy and civil liberties. Some Hong Kong citizens demand not only democracy, but independence. The U.S. and E.U. should show their support.
