North Korea revolves around Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un and nuclear weapons. Conversations during my recent trip to the North suggest that the regime will never voluntarily abandon its nukes. China won't help the U.S. without a deal, and even then Kim might risk regime collapse rather than concede.
